Dr Smoliński is an experienced negotiation scholar and instructor. He has trained thousands of students and business executives and helped them master some of the most complex negotiation challenges.

Dr Smoliński combines seasoned business leadership experience with a solid academic background. He graduated with a PhD from HHL Leipzig Graduate School of Management. In his research, he has focused on the theory and practice of negotiation, particularly in international settings.

He was a visiting scholar at Tufts University’s Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy and Harvard University’s Program on Negotiation. He also visited and conducted research at Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and Sichuan University in Chengdu, China.

He worked as an Assistant Professor for Negotiation at the IESEG School of Management and as a Research Associate at Aarhus University. In his professional career, dr Smoliński has held various executive positions, focusing mainly on strategy, business development and innovation management.

He built a blockchain startup in Shanghai and led an innovation management practice at a strategic consultancy. He regularly advises large multinational companies and successful SMEs on innovation management and growth initiatives. He supports them in their complex negotiations and helps their executives become better negotiators.

1. Dr Smoliński is an experienced negotiation scholar and instructor. He has held executive seminars for top-level management of large multinational companies including eBay, Axel Springer, Commerzbank, Deutsche Telekom, DKB, VNG, ONTRAS, Trivago, Schnellecke, Jenoptik and others. His seminars are regularly sold out and receive the best evaluations from participants.

2. Dr Smoliński is the founder of The Negotiation Challenge (www.thenegotiationchallenge.org), a major international negotiation competition for students and professionals. TNC is based on solid scientific foundations, regularly gathers passionate negotiators and allows them to compare and improve their negotiation skills.

3. Cooperation with Dow Chemical between 2004 and 2006.

4. Proposal for optimization of the logistics chain from Dow Chemical's Western European shipping points (NL, B, F) to Eastern European markets (PL, CZ, RUS) in light of the 2004 EU enlargement and the introduction of the road tax system in Germany.

5. Market analysis of employee recruitment tools and comparison with Dow's competitors' operations in Europe.

6. Optimization of eastbound logistics at Dow Chemical.
