Academy of Controlling – EY Certified Controller

The EY Certified Controller program is designed to familiarize participants with a result-oriented enterprise management system. In a modular series, the functions of controlling in an enterprise which are planning, organizing, monitoring and control will be presented. How to prepare a budget? How to calculate the unit cost in an enterprise? What is and how to prepare a company’s profitability account? How to read reports and conduct analysis based on them? How to introduce a reporting system in an entity necessary for making accurate and profitable business decisions? All this will be learned by the participants of EY Certified Controller.

The series is divided into several modules. It is possible to register for selected modules according to the terms of participation. After each module, you can obtain a certificate. However, we encourage you to organize your knowledge and go through the entire training program.

It is possible to obtain the EY Certified Controller Diploma after selecting the EY Certified Controller Diploma package and passing the exam.

Recordings can be purchased for the training courses. The purchase of the recordings is only available to those who have purchased the training course.

Cost Controlling

Types of costs — short- and long-term perspective. Full and variable costing. Activity-based costing. Break-even analysis. Decision: to buy or to produce? Cost control.

Financial Controlling

Evaluation of the company on the basis of financial statements: structure, profitability, liquidity, debt, etc. Ratio analysis — financial and operational indicators. Economic value added (EVA). Liquidity planning.

Planning and Budgeting

Budgeting methods, master budget and sub-budgets. Operating budget and financial budget. Project budget and control of its execution. Management by deviations. Alternative budgeting concepts.

Sales, Marketing and Customer Service Area Controlling

Evaluating the effectiveness of marketing activities in digital channels. Evaluation of offline and online sales activities. Customer service indicators. Planning for seasonal sales.

Power Query — Excel for Controllers

Query editor. Retrieving data from different sources and transforming them. Different ways to automatically combine data. Pivot columns. Introduction to the M language.

Exam

In order to receive a diploma, it is necessary to participate in the entire program and pass the final exam with at least 50% correct answers. The exam covers the topics discussed during the course.
