Rafał Wojciech Bernatek

In 2004, he graduated from the Faculty of Chemical and Process Engineering and the Centre for Pedagogy and Psychology at the Cracow University of Technology. He is also a graduate of the Higher School of Banking, majoring in Business Management, and the Academy of Professional Coaching.

For 17 years, he has been enriching and exchanging his knowledge through postgraduate studies, conferences and numerous courses improving hard and soft competences. He holds Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, Lean Implementer, Kepner Tregoe Practitioner and ICC Coach Level I certificates. He supports customers as a coach and consultant of Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt.

Rafał has worked for multinationals in FMCG, Automotive Experience and EY Business Advisory, supporting all levels of the organization and in various roles. He has carried out with his teams more than 350 projects having a positive impact on companies’ financial results through a holistic view and a strong focus on building a culture of respect, trust, cooperation and employee engagement at all levels of the organization.

He is eager to share his knowledge and experience in various forms, from practical workshops, lectures at conferences, project consultations to direct participation in implementation projects conducted by him. He has already shared his practical knowledge and natural enthusiasm with over 4000 people. He is quick to recognize the potential of those he works with and reinforces their strengths through work and personal commitment, which translates into their professional and personal success.

He specialises in areas related to operational management, methodological problem solving, continuous improvement, agile methodologies and process management, leadership and coaching. He holds numerous certificates confirming the competences acquired (Agile, Lean, TPS, TQM, Six Sigma, Coaching, K-T, 40+…). He says that certificates are a nice addition to the practical knowledge he uses in everyday project activities, increasing the effectiveness of the processes of companies and people cooperating with him.

Parallel to his work at EY Academy of Business, since 2013 he and his team have been working with companies in the field of operational management and audit, continuous process improvement in production, service and logistics areas and supporting teams and management through mentoring and coaching. All activities are focused on achieving measurable results and increasing employee and customer satisfaction.
